IMCTC held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at its headquarters in Riyadh, a presentation titled "Challenges of using the Armed Forces to Support the Civilian Government in Counterterrorism Efforts”, delivered by Lt. Col. Hamed Karim Beg, delegate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to IMCTC. Over the course of the presentation, Lt. Col. Karim explored the key obstacles of using the Armed Forces to Support Civilian Government in Counterterrorism operations. He also highlighted some relevant concepts such as stabilization, civilian support and normalization operations.
