The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at its headquarters in Riyadh a lecture titled: " Norms of Decency" delivered by HE, Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathiri, Advisor to the Royal Court and a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, in the presence of IMCTC Secretary-General, member states' delegates, and IMCTC staff members.

During the lecture, HE, Dr. Al-Shathiri discussed the norms of decency between people based on Islamic Sharia and the patterns terrorists follow in their personalities in everyday life. He further explained Sharia principles pertaining to dealing with individuals posing a threat to society.

In the meantime, HE, Dr. Al-Shathiri, was briefed on IMCTC's counter-terrorism efforts across its domains of action where HE commended the great efforts made by IMCTC on counter-terrorism and rejection of violent extremism.

The lecture comes as part of a series of symposia, presentations, and workshops organized by IMCTC to its member countries' delegates and personnel.
