The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, inaugurated, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at IMCTC's headquarters in Riyadh, the Digital Transformation Plan and the Standardized Digital Platform for the provision of safe and secure automation of digital processes in cyberspace.

During the event, the Head of IT Department stressed that the safe digital transformation requires implementation of innovative procedures/policies to protect sensitive data and information from cyber-threats. Such measures include data protection systems' development, encryption, staff training on digital security and raising awareness about cyber-risks.

He further added that the digital platform was built to provide a uniform service, integrate data and information from various sources. The platform will provide a one-window portal for all users to access digital services, such as e-government, logistics, technical, administrative services, and others, to streamline access, operations of digital services. Moreover, the service will further improve the efficiency of operations and reduce costs, enhance the interaction and communication amongst users and vendors.

In his concluding remarks, the Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi pointed out that the safe digital transformation plan and the standardized digital platform are initiatives meant to deepen the digital transformation at IMCTC and improve the integration between the various digital systems and services.​
