The Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held on Thursday, Aug.12, 2021, at its headquarters in Riyadh, a presentation titled: (Proxy Warfare – Fourth-Generation Wars) delivered by Brig. Gen. Raaed Marashdah, delegate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon to IMCTC, in the presence of IMCTC Secretary-General, member countries’ delegates and personnel.
Brig. Gen. Marashdah shed light on the concept of proxy warfare, methods, military, political, economic dimensions, key techniques, tools and features used in proxy wars. He further touched upon the various mechanisms and strategies adopted by different countries in pursuing proxy warfare, how to avoid such wars and linked the dimensions of the concept of proxy warfare to IMCTC counterterrorism domains (ideology, communications, CTF and military).
