On Tuesday, 15 August 2023, IMCTC held a workshop titled "Data Management and Governance", in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Information Assurance at King Saud University, delivered by Mr. Ahmed Al-Oraij, Technology Leadership Specialist, in the presence of IMCTC Secretary General, Member States'  Delegates and personnel. 

The workshop discussed data assurance, consistency, reliability, and means of its utilization in a manner that supports the achievement of the required goals and strategies. Mr. Al-Oraij pointed out that, nowadays, data is a valuable resource for modern organizations by accessing various types of large storage units, leverage that in the infrastructure of data storage, management, and usage to run business intelligence and data analytics processes more efficiently.

In his closing remarks, IMCTC Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, affirmed that data is a valuable asset in decision-making at IMCTC, and the fact of data governance is an essential component that ensures the safety and quality of outcomes to realize IMCTC's strategic goals.​
