IMCTC launched its cybersecurity awareness-training program in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Authority. The inauguration took place in the presence of IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, HE, Vice Chairman of the National Cybersecurity Authority Eng. Mohammed Al Hassan, IMCTC Member Countries' Delegates, and personnel. 

The program highlighted the importance of enhancing cyber awareness for IMCTC Member Countries' Delegates and personnel as well as the importance of creating a secure environment able to handle matters of cybersecurity. The event also covered the means that help identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and how to fix them before, during and after their occurrence. The event commended the enormous efforts made by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of cybersecurity, bearing in mind that the Kingdom ranks as the second most advanced country in this field.

Warping up the event, IMCTC Secretary-General commended the quality of such informative programs that are going to have a positive impact on the preventing and mitigating cyber-attacks. He added that cyber-attacks and the risk they pose might be one of the tools that terrorist groups use to achieve their wicked ends, which present a real danger to the cyber, economic and military security of most countries. He concluded his remarks by highlighting the great capabilities that the Kingdom possesses are a source of pride for all of us and around the world.​
