Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Relief and Humanitarian Aid

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, received at IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, HE, Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Rabeeah, Advisor to Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor-General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center(KSrelief).

HE, Dr. Al-Rabeeah, received a detailed briefing on IMCTC’s counterterrorism efforts across the four domains, (Ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military) and its role in coordinating IMCTC member countries’ efforts. The meeting also explored avenues of common cooperation between IMCTC and KSrelief to strengthen their existing counterterrorism efforts, create strategic integration and partnerships in pursuit of greater cooperation, coordination and integration across the various domains in this regard.

Over the course of the visit, HE, Dr. Al-Rabeeah delivered a presentation titled “Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Relief and Humanitarian Aid” highlighting a number of Humanitarian initiatives and projects carried out by KSrelief at the local, regional, and global levels, in addition to the efforts made to deepen joint cooperation with international organizations.

It is worth noting that IMCTC and KSrelief had previously signed a joint memorandum of cooperation in Dec. 2019, to solidify their joint cooperation across multiple areas.
