The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held at its headquarters in Riyadh, May 26, 2022, a workshop titled:" Challenges of Countering Violent Extremism in Sahel–Saharan States ", delivered by Col. Mahman Sori Dyalo, delegates of Niger and Lieut. Col. Rashid Bin Mubarak Al-Rasheedi, delegate of Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of IMCTC member countries’ delegates and IMCTC personnel.
The workshop discussed the phenomenon of violent extremism, countering ways, and challenges in Sahel–Saharan States.
It is noteworthy that this workshop is part of a series of ideology domain-related symposia, presentations, and panel discussions and the ideology is part of IMCTC’s four counterterrorism domains, i.e. ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military).
