As part of the media campaign to raise local communities’ awareness about the dangers of terrorism and violent extremism, IMCTC has been working on designing an awareness campaign themed "Be Smarter!" It seeks to expose, discredit and refute extremist groups’ propaganda, instill hope, optimism in communities, raise their awareness about the methods, tactics used by terrorist, extremist groups to entice young people into supporting those groups financially or morally.
