Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Said Al-Moghedi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and the accompanying delegation toured various stands taking part in the 16th edition of Dubai Airshow 2019, in the United Arab Emirates. The event was sponsored by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
The delegation had the opportunity to see the latest technologies on display at the exhibition in military, defense and aviation sectors. The delegation, furthermore, met with exhibitors where they got briefed on aviation industry advances and the projects of exhibiting firms.
The visit demonstrates IMCTC’s keen interest in attending events that contribute to capacity building, exchange of experiences, expertise and keeping abreast with emerging technologies.
It is worth noting that Dubai Airshow, which is hosted by Dubai Exhibition City at Al Maktoum International Airport, is one of the largest airshows in the world, where 160 countries exhibited 165 civilian and military aircrafts.
