ISLAMIC MILITARY COUNTER TERRORISM COALITION (IMCTC) WELCOMES DELEGATES OF THE REPUBLIC OF MALDIVES TO IMCTC

IMCTC welcomed Delegates of the Republic of Maldives, an IMCTC member country, on Sunday, 24 January 2021, at the IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh, who were accompanied by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Khaleel, the Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Brig. Gen. Zakariyya Mansoor, Director General of the National Counter Terrorism Center at the Maldivian Ministry of Defense. The Delegates recently joined other Delegates to IMCTC, bringing the total number of member countries that have sent their Delegates to twenty-five Islamic countries.  

The IMCTC Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi welcomed the Delegates, wishing them success in their endeavors and duties, and underscoring the great role assigned to them in serving IMCTC and its counterterrorism initiatives.

It is worth noting that IMCTC comprises forty-one member countries working together to coordinate and multiply their efforts in the global fight against violent extremism and terrorism and to join other international security and peacekeeping efforts.
