The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) celebrated the 89th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the headquarters of the Coalition Center in Riyadh, with the presence of member countries’ delegates and the Center’s staff.

Major-General Mohammed bin Abdul Khaliq Al-Ghamdi, Head of the Saudi delegation to the Coalition, in addition to Dr. Zayed bin Ajeer Al-Harthy and Dr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Subaihi, Saudi Arabia’s delegates for the Ideology and Media domains, all delivered welcoming and ceremonial speeches, and extended their greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on this occasion.

A documentary film was then played to the audience highlighting the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by its founder, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, as a source of inspiration for the continuous development witnessed in Saudi Arabia under its wise leadership.

This celebration comes as a further endorsement of IMCTC’s role in combating hate speech, spreading peace and unity among Member States and the world at large, in addition to collaborating and coordinating all efforts to fight violent extremism and terrorism.
