On the occasion of the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, IMCTC held a celebration at its headquarters in Riyadh, on Sunday 27, 2020, under the patronage and in the presence of the Secretary-General of IMCTC, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, and in the presence of member countries’ delegates and IMCTC personnel.
The head of the Saudi delegation to IMCTC, Brigadier General Yahya bin Mohammed Asiri, delivered a speech on this occasion, highlighting the significant role that Saudi Arabia plays in serving Islam and Muslims and combating terrorism in all its manifestations.
For his part, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi pointed out the role of Saudi Arabia as the headquarters country of IMCTC in supporting IMCTC and any efforts aimed at fighting violent extremism and terrorism.
It is noteworthy that IMCTC is an alliance of 41 countries that work together to coordinate and multiply their efforts in the global fight against violent extremism and terrorism and to join other international security and peacekeeping efforts.
