The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held a workshop on (The Strategies of the Wise Use of Social Media: Towards Safe Media Content) on Tuesday, 17.11.2020, which was presented by Dr. Muhammad bin Suleiman Al-Subaihi, delegate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to IMCTC in the Communications Domain, under the patronage of the Secretary-General of IMCTC and in the presence of member countries' delegates.
The workshop highlighted the challenges posed by the developments of communication environment and the contribution of information and communication technology in the restructuring of communicative patterns as well as wise performance in using social media and the dimensions of that usage.
It is noteworthy that IMCTC is an alliance of forty-one countries that work together to coordinate and multiply their efforts in the international fight against violent extremism and terrorism and to join other international security and peacekeeping efforts.
