Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and Arab, Islamic and international organizations, centers and universities, a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation was signed today, 28 February 2021, between IMCTC, represented by the IMCTC Acting Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, and Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), represented by IMSIU president H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Ameri.  

Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi stressed that the signing of this memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of enhancing the strategic partnership between IMCTC and IMSIU, embodying the leading local, regional and international role both sides play in countering violent extremism, terrorism and its financing and promoting their joint vision.  

It is worth noting that IMCTC comprises forty-one member countries working together to coordinate and multiply their efforts in the global fight against terrorism and violent extremism and to join other international security and peacekeeping efforts.
