The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition held at its headquarters in Riyadh, on Monday, August 1, 2022, a presentation titled "Cybersecurity Governance," delivered by Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Mat’hami, a cybersecurity governance expert, in the presence of IMCTC secretary-General, member states’ Delegates and IMCTC personnel.
Eng. Al-Mat’hami highlighted the importance of cybersecurity governance, execution methods and regulatory frameworks that need to be put into effect to ensure information security from external attacks. He further pointed out that the enormous acceleration of digital transformation operations has led to a surge in cyber-attacks, data breaches and that in turn prompted many advanced countries to work hard to provide a secure environment for data and digital operations through a robust security system.
The presentation is part of a series of IMCTC organized events attended by member countries’ delegates and IMCTC personnel to raise the level of cybersecurity awareness regarding cyber-crimes and breaches.
