IMCTC Secretary-General receives the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Saudi Arabia.pdf

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, received at IMCTC headquarters, HE, Park Joon-Yong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying delegation.

During the course of the meeting, Ambassador Joon-Yong, received a detailed briefing on IMCTC’s counterterrorism efforts across its four domains of action; “Ideology, Communications, Counter terrorist financing, and Military” and its role in coordinating member countries’ counterterrorism efforts.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi commended the role of the Republic of Korea in countering terrorism and violent extremism in its various forms, shapes, as well as being a member in many regional and international relevant organizations, its belief in tolerance, coexistence and denunciation of violence and extremism.
