The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, received the Military Attaché of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Saudi Arabia, Brig. Gen. Fakhari Al-Alawi, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Over the course of the visit, the Jordanian Military Attaché was briefed on the IMCTC's efforts across counterterrorism domains: ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military, as well as its role in coordinating and stepping up member countries' efforts. Both sides also discussed matters of mutual interest between the IMCTC and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Brig. Gen. Al-Alawi commended the IMCTC's great role in serving the interests of its member countries across counterterrorism domains, and noted its achievements in countering terrorism and violent extremist ideology.
