The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held at its headquarters in Riyadh, Sunday, January 8, 2023, a workshop titled; the "Systematic Content Analysis Methods; Daesh Narrative Case”, delivered by Dr. Mohammed bin Naser Al-Beshie, in the presence of IMCTC Secretary General and member countries’ Delegates.
Over the course of the workshop, Dr. Al-Beshie introduced the concept of content analysis, its application on the narratives of terrorist groups, methods of parsing their messages, discourses on print and broadcast media outlets.
The workshop seeks to provide IMCTC member countries’ Delegates with the necessary knowledge, skills in this regard as well as the systematic methods for conducting content analysis on the discourse of extremist groups.
