IMCTC Receives Ambassador of Chad to Saudi Arabia

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received HE Ambassador of the Republic of Chad to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hassan Saleh Algadam Aldjinedi, the accompanying delegation at IMCTC's headquarters in Riyadh.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest between IMCTC and Republic of Chad.

Over the course of his visit, Mr. Aldjinedi was briefed on the IMCTC's efforts across counter-terrorism domains, namely, ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military, its role in coordinating and intensifying member countries' efforts, the latest developments and updates on terrorist groups and incidents around the world, as well as the IMCTC's monitoring and tracking mechanisms in this regard.

For his part, the Mr. Aldjinedi commended the IMCTC's great efforts in countering the scourge of terrorism and eliminating it, alongside the international organizations and alliances working on countering terrorism and violent extremist ideology. He applauded the great and pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the IMCTC and its efforts to eradicate terrorism and criminal groups.

At the close of the meeting, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi stressed the strategic importance of Chad at the international level because of its strategic location in Africa, being one of the IMCTC's member countries since its establishment, and its active role in countering terrorism in Africa. He also noted that the IMCTC is looking forward to receiving Chad's delegates to work alongside their fellow delegates from other countries at the IMCTC in countering terrorism and extremism.
