IMCTC receives a delegation from the Counter Terrorism Center of Excellence in East Africa

Today, IMCTC received a delegation from the Counter Terrorism Center of Excellence in East Africa, headed by CTCoE Director, HE, John N. Ndungutse. The delegation was greeted by IMCTC Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Moghedi. During the visit, both sides discussed issues of mutual interest related to counterterrorism domains.

HE, Mr. Ndungutse and the accompanying delegation were briefed on IMCTC's mission across ideology, communications, countering terrorist financing, and military domains, introduced to IMCTC's publications and familiarized themselves with the efforts made in tracking, and analyzing terrorist groups' operations worldwide.

His Excellency expressed his admiration for IMCTC's approach in countering terrorism and his deep appreciation for these efforts. Due to the alignment in approaches concerning the fight against terrorism, these efforts can be significantly beneficial for their center— Counter Terrorism Center of Excellence in East Africa.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi welcomed the visiting delegation as part of international cooperation with regional and global counterterrorism centers. He further emphasized that IMCTC provides assistance to all member countries affected by terrorism through strategic initiatives in full respect of every member country's sovereignty.​
