At the directive of HRH, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, HE, the Assistant Minister of Defense, Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, visited IMCTC's headquarters in Riyadh and was received by IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi.
Over the course of the visit, HE, the Assistant Minister of Defense, was briefed on IMCTC's counter-terrorism efforts, its role in countering extremist ideology, coordination of all member countries’ efforts to confront terrorist activities through its ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military initiatives. HE also received a briefing on the latest updates and developments on terrorist groups, incidents around the world, as well as the means of monitoring and tracking of those activities.
Further, HE also met with some of IMCTC member countries’ Delegates and got familiarized with the key tasks they perform at IMCTC in collaboration with their fellow Delegates from the rest of member countries.
