The Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition (IMCTC) signed today, Wednesday 11/08/2021, at its headquarters in Riyadh, a memorandum of joint collaboration with the Intellectual Warfare Center (IWC).
IMCTC Secretary-General stressed that this memorandum comes within the framework of strengthening the strategic partnership between the Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition and Intellectual Warfare Center (IWC) highlighting the leading domestic and regional role of both organizations in countering violent extremism. The memorandum aims to strengthen the joint vision between IMCTC and IWC in the area of countering violent extremism, counter terrorist financing and as part of their objectives of addressing the root causes of extremism, terrorism, offer initiatives and research to order to insulate communities from such dangers by devising preventive as well as treatment programs.
Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi pointed out that IMCTC comprises a group of moderate Muslim countries that stand as a bulwark against the ongoing threats posed by terrorist groups, bring back peace, stability to affected areas, the Muslim world and to the entire world through countering terrorism, its financing, as well as countering violent extremism.
