IMCTC receives the Ambassdor of the United Republic of Tanzania

The Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received at IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh, HE, Ambassador Ali Mwadini, of the United Republic of Tanzania to Saudi Arabia and the accompanying delegation where both sides discussed matters of mutual interest between IMCTC and the United Republic of Tanzania.

Over the course of the visit, Ambassador Mwadini received a detailed briefing on IMCTC's counter-terrorism efforts across its four counter-terrorism domains, namely, (ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military) as well as its role in coordinating Member States' efforts. The briefing also covered the latest developments, updates on terrorist groups and incidents around the world, and IMCTC role in monitoring and tracking such activities.

For his part, Ambassador Mwadini commended IMCTC's efforts in countering the scourge of terrorism in collaboration with international counter-terrorism, violent extremism organizations and coalitions, the and the leading role of Saudi Arabia in establishing and supporting this Coalition as well as the steps it has taken to eliminate terrorism and criminal groups.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Al-Maghedi pointed that IMCTC looks forward that the United Republic of Tanzania join IMCTC to work hand in hand with the rest of IMCTC member states in countering terrorism and violent extremism.​
