The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) received at its headquarters on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, HRH, Prince Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), and deputy commanders of Saudi Armed Forces’ branches. IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi and Member Countries' Delegates welcomed the visiting delegation.

Over the course of the visit, HRH, Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar and deputy commanders were briefed on the IMCTC's counter-terrorism efforts, its role in countering extremist ideology, and the coordination of all member countries’ efforts to counter terrorist activities through its ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military initiatives. The briefing also covered the latest updates and developments on terrorist groups, incidents around the world, as well as the means of monitoring and tracking those activities.

HRH also met with some of IMCTC member countries’ Delegates and familiarized them with the key tasks they perform at IMCTC in collaboration with their fellow Delegates from the rest of member countries.

For his part, IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi pointed out that the unlimited support provided the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and HRH, and Minister of Defense and Chairman of IMCTC Defense Ministers Council, for doing everything possible to defeat terrorism, extremism, strengthen the security and safety worldwide, offers a clear message to the entire world for the rejection of violence, extremism and as being a strong bulwark against any terrorist group that seeks to destabilize countries or  intimidate civilians. Hence, this firm stance of the Kingdom has proved to many countries and convinced them to join IMCTC bringing its membership to 42 countries, whose flags fly together under a single umbrella and united under one motto, “Allied against Terrorism”.
