The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) received the military attaché of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Faruque.
Over the course of the visit, Bangladesh’s military attaché received a detailed briefing on IMCTC counter-terrorism efforts across the four domains (ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, military) and its role in coordinating and intensifying its member countries’ efforts. Furthermore, both sides explored avenues of joint cooperation between IMCTC and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Brig. Gen. Faruque commended the role of IMCTC in serving the interest of member its countries across the various domains of counter-terrorism and lauded IMCTC’s achievements in countering terrorism and violent extremism as well as its various domains of actions.
