IMCTC Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, received today at IMCTC's headquarters in Riyadh, Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ahmed Sukrun, President of Oman's Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies, and the accompanying delegation.

H.E. Maj. Gen. Sukrun was briefed on IMCTC's key activities and its role in coordinating international efforts across countering terrorism domains: ideology, communications, countering terrorist financing, and military. The delegation was also informed about the monitoring, follow-up, and analysis operations conducted by IMCTC regarding terrorist groups and organizations worldwide.

Maj. Gen. Hamad Sukrun expressed his deep appreciation for the comprehensive coordination efforts he observed within IMCTC. He commended the strategic approach adopted by IMCTC in various aspects of countering terrorism and the publications it produces in this regard, valuing IMCTC's role in promoting the message of Islam, which denounces all forms of violence and extremism.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi appreciated the Omani delegation's visit, highlighting Oman's delegates role at IMCTC and their contributions in various areas of counterterrorism, working alongside their fellow delegates from IMCTC member countries in their efforts to reject violence and extremism.
