Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been a member of IMCTC since its inception because it believes that it is essential to prevent any actions that can encourage or incite violent extremism. In his last remarks, he commended the pivotal role of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in countering terrorism and violent extremism, its noble principle of rejection violence and extremism, and its membership in several counter-terrorism, counter extremism organizations and centers.
